Hellfire, for those who don’t know, is a series of red crags on the foot of the Du Toit’s Kloof massif. It has a great selection of trad and sport routes in a location that has a very definite secluded and country feel in a tranquil setting.

The guidebook has all the information you need to round off a perfect Hellfire experience.
Packed with lots of B&W pictures of crags and full-page colour climbing photos, the book is well laid out and easy to follow. I particularly like the crag layout sketch at the bottom of the page, which tells you exactly where you are at all times.

If you have not been to Hellfire, do yourself a favour, buy the book and go sample some of the best cragging in the Western Cape.
